A Guide to GARLIC
January 16 @ 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm
$65.00
Garlic has been used throughout history for both medicinal and culinary purposes. Because of its strong odor, it’s often referred to as the “stinking rose”. Around 24,000 to 26,000 acres of garlic are planted annually in the United States with total production of around 400 million pounds. 50% of that total are grown in Gilroy, CA and 90% is harvested there.
In this class we want to explore using this little gem in a few ways. You will create your own bottle of herb and garlic infused oil; we will roast a bulb of garlic so you can learn how to make a spreadable roasted garlic aioli sauce and we will learn to make the world’s best cheesy vegan garlic bread with a HOMEMADE rustic loaf. The kitchen is bound to smell AMAZING during this not-to-miss class!
**All classes are hands-on working alongside with the chef. You are making your own dishes and either eating them onsite or packing and taking them home.**
