Cinco de Mayo Mexican Celebration: Fajitas & Margaritas!
May 4 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
$75.00
Cinco de Mayo isn’t the same as Mexico’s Independence Day. The holiday celebrates the Mexican victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla, which took place on May 5, 1862. Cinco de Mayo is celebrated by Mexican Americans with festive dress, parades and, of course, food! Typical spreads for the holiday include tacos, guacamole and tequila drinks. Let’s throw our own PRE-Cinco de Mayo party this year with Chef Nico and Vegas Vegan’s Mandy the Mixologist!
In this class you will learn how to make FRESH flour tortillas – they are actually very easy to make and taste so much better than any store-bought tortilla you will ever have. Next, get out those
knives and learn some chopping skills creating two different variations of fajitas along with Chef Nico’s culinary wisdom with spice combination – you will be drooling in anticipation of eating these. Lastly, in comes Mandy the Mixologist to walk you through creating a custom Margarita to pair with your amazing food creation. What could be more fun than cooking with friends, drinking Margaritas and celebrating Cinco de Mayo?!
**This is a hands-on class for 21 years or older. Each person will have their own station to learn alongside with Chef Nico. You can eat or take your creation afterwards. An electronic recipe & instruction card is emailed to you within 72-hours after the conclusion of the class.**
